I'm going back to desert combat.
lol. I was wondering what all the hype was about this game. Everyone was posting about it and I thought "what's so great about it?" without knowing much about it. I'll have to see how many other say it stinks before i give it some serious thought.
Desert combat Chopper physics and control owns Vietnam's. Why didn't they just find a way to port it over?

I prefer bald... uh... terrain, too.
Its hard to beat Desert Combat at this moment... Agreed, the game is improved but I could careless. The game is a bit un-realistic to me.... You shoot someone and your crosshairs have ticks marks... You always have a parachute.... The VC shoots the ground but not even a explosion or splash damage? Not even a little? C'mon!
Anyway, I'll stick with UT2k4

I heard Vietnam is really laggy. True?
I'm not in a hurry to buy it, just checked the local software ect. Tons are sitting on the shelf, and these games can only get better after a few patches..... although Call of Duty was still look very tempting

Runs fine on my PC.
Whats really cool is customizing the My Music folder.
Drop your MP3s in there and you are fightn to Metallica - One or REM - Orange Crush or what ever you want to listen to.
Purty cool...
Very few number of servers have had lag in my play time.

the little booby traps are cool
the terrain is great
the auto balance thingie is confusing though
seems like you're on a team that's kickin major butt one second, your team has all flags
then BAM
all flags change to the other team and your team loses your top 3 guys
maybe it was just the server i was on...i dunno
it's a good change from DC, i played 3 servers and didn't run into a single smacktard
in DC, it takes me 5 or 6 servers just to find one thats not 100% smacktardation
BF vietnam should be great for the next year...thats when all the tards will convert
