I was ordering my UT2K4 from EB and noticed that they have a special Gone Gold sale on Battlefield Vietnam, free 2nd day air and bonus music cd, same as gamestop, but I like to have all my stuff from one place so I am ordering both, hehe.

$1.00 cheaper at outpost.com.

Get $10 off at Amazon if you order another "war" game including any of the BF1942 expansion packs. For californians, that amounts to almost a free game when you factor in no tax for amazon.

If it's $34.99 at outpost, it should also be at Fry's when they get it, so I'll wait.

Thanks to both; the Amazon deal is intriguing, because I never bought any of the MOH packs.

39.99 is regular retail price.
How exactly is that a hot deal?
Free 2nd day air?
Big deal. You can preorder it for 39.99 at any B&M software store and actually have it on the release day.

not everyone has a place that gets games on release day. I know until I moved last year I had to either order online or drive an hour to get a game on release day.

Course now I just hit up gamespot 1 block from where I work :)

Hot deal on MOHAA: Deluxe @ Amazon. You're getting BF Viet, MOHAA, and Spearhead expansion for $50 shipped.

nevermind

I was reading it wrong!

& is it possible that at least one B&M will offer it for $29.99 when it is released?

Absolutly not. Fry's or Costco may have it for $35, but no B&M place will have it for $30 for months. It will probably be on sale online for that much after a few weeks.

Best Buy or CompUSA might have it for a reduced price the first weekend after release, but $30 is probably a little low to hope for.

Every once in a while BB runs new games for $24.99 about 2-weeks after release. I have gotten a few good deals this way. I think they want to get the big bucks from those that are willing to pay $40-$50 for it when it comes out and then drop the price so those that want it but can't afford it will also buy. Win-Win for them.

And I just got BF1942:SWWWII, man I am behind the times. :D
