Looks good but it doesn't fully address the K10 issue and doesn't even address the main problem with the 300 knockout.

The K10 needs to have its damage way lower as a 33 max damage is still a 4 shot kill. Combine that with a 1200rpm fire rate. It basically is no difference from the now 35 damage profile. A 25 or lower max damage would be ideal.
Ill be glad to see the HCAR's recoil tamed a bit, its like trying to ride a wild bronco right now. LOL

this is for folks who love playing infantry. anybody who loves tanks and planes will hate it. it's no COD at all, but it may feel that way to people that like huge battlefield maps that take ages to go from point to point as infantry, but ok in a vehicle.

i love infantry. this game is good so far having bought it earlier today. i like the pacing and map sizes so far as well.
The maps are so small it makes spawn trapping a big issue on conquest. I love a good turkey shoot every now and then but just about every game of conquest Ive played has turned into one, and its not as fun when you are stuck on the turkey team.

Its only $40 now at Best Buy and Amazon. I really, really don't feel like grinding to unlock stuff like in BF3-4, but the infantry based maps look fun. I guess $40 won't kill me. No premium though.

Hardline is a little different, instead of simply grinding points and kills for unlocks, you now have to grind for cash to buy weapons you want to unlock and then grind kills with those bought weapons to even get to the point where the attachments you need unlock so you can then buy them. UGH!!!!

Yeah, thats what I gathered from watching videos. I wish they'd get rid of this unlocking crap. I can't believe anyone thinks grinding is fun.

I'm so bad at this right now its not even funny! The whole thing with the weapons only being good for only one side sucks. I don't even want to buy a gun because it seems like a waste of money and time if you try to leave it up every other round.

I see you bought the K10, that should hold you over until they nerf it... But yeah, some guns are only for one side until you get something ridiculous like 1,250 kills with it. I'll be playing some more infantry-focused gameplay (Heist, Blood Money) tonight if anyone wants to join.

Yeah, the K10 is great, but leveling it will take twice as long because its one side only. Maybe even 5 times considering my KD. lol

Still waiting for a free weekend before i jump on this game, haven't touched BF4 in a while cause that game just pisses me off. From what i saw in beta it wasn't all that bad but i saw that in BF4 too and well now i have learned.

For others, hows the game compared to BF4 quality wise at the moment?Any major patches incoming?

The only patch Ive heard about contains mostly weapon balances, the game itself seems to be very stable. I had some crashing issues early on that I was able to solve by updating my PB files. The only problem I have with the game is the same problem Ive had with every other BF game, and that's the stupid high ping advantage. However, I am trying to simply accept that it will never be fixed and its just part of the BF experience. :|

Since all the maps are small to begin with I find myself sticking to TDM servers for quick run and gun action. The limited vehicles available in the other game modes make them unappealing to me.

Certainly waiting for a gametime promotion then,i have a hard time parting with my money unless i could get a demo or some game time or a free weekend.

Longer the wait, the cheaper the game i guess lol. I don't mind waiting.

I bought it, I don't like the idea of having to unlock cop/criminal specific weapons in the game. Also the sniper rifle hit box can't be correct, I was taking shots across the map and doing headshots on people on shots that were pretty impossible.

Yeah, the unlocking sucks. The hitboxes for the sniper rifles seem generous. Closer to BC2 than the BF3 or BF4. I haven't used them yet, but some of the YT channels I'm subbed to put out rushing sniper videos like they used to for BC2. I havent played since the double XP weekend, but that didnt seem to be too much of a problem.
