Is the only reason you ordered it for the ps3 due to amazon credit? If that's all and you'd rather play it on xbox live, amazon has the xbox version available for preorder with $20 credit as well.
 
I'm enjoying this game a lot. It's the best best thing to Battlefield 3. Sure it's not perfect but it's still really fun.

yeah i know... i wanted xbox version by the guys at work all want to play it on the ps3.... so i went that way instead... just hope it works out..


otherwise if they were not going to playi would have gone 360.
 
god damn. i just got around to playing the demo...

wow. i hate the iron and everyone seems to be a damn sniper.

What do you mean by 'I hate the iron'? I had never heard that before.

But yea, lots of snipers, I am hoping that once the game releases and the other maps are opened up then we will see less of that, at this point, I have actually gotten tired of playing the same map over and over again, and have stopped playing the demo. The worst of it came when my team, whole brain-dead, stupid, idiotic lot of them, let the other team take both our tank and our AA vehicle from us (this was the starting point, thank god they didn't also have a bradley) and then just shelled the hell out of us and the starting hill. They also had guys on every emplaced gun, and snipers to round it out. My team (affectionately known as The F*cking C*cks since that was what I was calling them) was trying to keep on keepin on. They kept trying to snipe and bum rush through.... it was me and one other guy who where actually trying to blow up the freaking vehicles (that had engineers behind them, just to rub it in) but 2 guys can only do so much...

Worst match ever, that officially was my last match on the demo.

why i like battlefield, steal tanks and run away.
 
Does anyone actually use their mic on BC2? I've been playing the demo since it came out and have never heard a single voice except for when I'm playing with friends.

I'm on the PS3 and I always talk when other people have mics. Unfortunately, it seems like 50% of the player base chooses to go the hellen keller route.

Yeah, the squad set-up would work immensely better with mics, but I have yet to get on a game on XBL with a single person talking.
 
I think once the game is out you will see the classes balance out. Not everyone playing the demo is going to put down their $60 for the console edition. Dad's credit card has a limit!

Helen Keller was deaf and blind, but not mute, so you may want to try a different comparison. 🙂

I'm not a huge fan of the BC2 demo, either. That's funny, because BF:BC is one of the few FPS games on the 360 I can stand.
 
I could play the demo over and over again, I get such a kick out of it! The snipers need to be toned down a little bit, but they are not even that bad. I usually stick to the assault class.
