Lately I have been addicted to the online gameplay of Battlefield: Bad Company, on my PS3, yet I dont really feel totally content with it on a console alone.

BF1 and BF2 were great but having BFBC on the PC would make my day.

Does anyone know if BFBC will ever be on the PC??

besides, why would you want that game on pc, the echos give one hell of a migraine, after an hour of playing.
besides that it take a large number of bullets to kill anyone, no matter what gun you are using. also until they release conquest, i do not see a point in playing.

Well, it's been confirmed something besides Battlefield Heroes is coming to the PC, one of the top brass at DICE said they're working on something for hardcore PC Gamers as well.

Sweet, maybe it will get my FPS clan back to Battlefield and away from Call of Duty 4.

Actually EA sold more games on the PC than they did on the xbox 360.

Can you imagine BF3 running on the Frostbite engine? Haha, that would be sweet!

"EA's 2008 Q1 revenue of $395M, led by PlayStation 3 sales amounting to $139M. PC software followed at $86M, while Xbox 360 sales came in third with $81M in the quarter ending June 30, 2008."

Previous years EA also did well on the PC.
2007: PC $498M, 360 $480M, PS3 $94M
2006: PC $418M, 360 $140M

I think they're planning on that some how or another; it's called DX Frostbite, if the rumors from that PDF file are true.

I have a feeling some rumors are true, some aren't. But yes, destructible environments would be kewl. :D

If they made it for the ps2, I bet it would be ported over for the PC. But I don't think they've done a ps3/360 specific game only and moved it to the PC b/c it is easier to port PS2 games.

How about some EA sports for the pc? yeah..g/l.

Anyone who wants to play a sports game is at least slightly mentally retarded. There is a thing called real life, and things called friends, and you can play sports in real life, with your friends.

Sometimes it's hard for me to get 30 guys together for a game of football. Sometimes it's Winter and the golf courses are closed, so I decide to play a round from the comfort of my home. I also don't have skates, a stick, pads, and a hockey rink at my disposal at all times, so NHL can be a good alternative.

Should I go on?

KT

PS: I play Basketball every Friday in the Summer, yet I still like to play sports games, but I guess I'm still slightly mentally retarded.

Read the NCAA 09 thread. You're not missing much.

Ugh..well all EA sports games for the pc are ps2 ports. Thanks for taking advantage of my dual core 8800gt setup guys.

Anyway, at least BF2 is still fun..but runs like crap with my pc I just built after switching from single core and 7800GT to dual core and 8800GT it runs worse than my old system. Luckily COD4 runs freaking sweet and smooth at max now! :D

hmmm, wouldn't EA be porting from the XBOX 360 instead of the PS2? Much easier than porting from a PS2 no?
