battlefield 3 wont launch

Battlefield 3 won't launch. I press the shortcut and it makes a loading hourglass and then nothing

What happens when you try to launch it directly from Origin?

Have you tried repairing your install? To do this, right-click on the game in Origin, and click "Repair".

Battlelog has been in and out this evening, Ive had trouble loading the server browser and getting into games. Its just been sluggish all around.

Try running it as Admin. If it continues to fail then check your Application logs for anything failed. Did it ever run?

It ran once when it launched from my browser. It does the same thing from origin as it does from the shortcut. It just sits there and never does anything, no matter how many times I press it?

Have you repaired your installation like I suggested?

Yeah I tried that yesterday, and running it as administrator but no luck. I'm trying to reinstall it now. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit if that makes any difference

Close battlelog in your web browser. Go to origin and launch BF3 from there. Fixes this problem for me all the time.
