Battlefield 2 unlocking weapons

Ok, so I got a rank, and chose to unlock my weapon later; now I can't seem to figure out how to unlock any weapons. Anybody know how?

Hmmm. Maybe try going into your Profile (I think it's under Community, I haven't played in awhile) and look around there?

You'll need to login your account and go to BFHQ and you should be able to unlock your new weapon there. If it's your first, I would recommend going with the one class you usually play most with. I started with the medic weapon unlock.

Ok, thanks guys. Come to find out, you have to exit BFHQ and re-enter and the weapons unlock pops back up.

you get unlocks each rank, right?

and why do my favorites disappear when i try to refresh them?

Only certain ranks give you unlocks.
