Battlefield 2 "The Server has refused connection"

i got my game today, and i was playing online just fine earlier, and just now, i tried logging on, it gives me the error message "The server has refused connection" ..... WTH does that mean?? is the main server down or something? this is really annoying, they should at least allow the user to play offline-single player mode while their stupid server is down.....(assuming it's down...but in general they shoudl still just allow a user to be able to play the single player mode...)....this brings me to another question, after just mentioning the one before.....apparently they verify whether your acct is legit or not....does that mean you wouldnt be able to play the game if your internet was down? let alone that you don't have internet??

anyways, is anybody else experiencing this or is it just me??

You are both wrong. It means that "The connection was refused by the server." 🙂
 
It means "Sorry, we didnt' have time to include error messages in the game, so when the software crashes to the desktop or the server rejects your sorry ass, you're on your own."
 
I'm not sure at what point you are getting this message. Have you been able to create an online account and user name?
 
i love how these numbnuts can't contribute to a question, and try to pull off something funny but fail miserably.

anyways, it's working now, and it happens when i try to login. i guess the main server was down.

please explain how the question is stupid when there's over 50 threads on the internet with the same question?

there's a reason why they refused the connection, and i wanted to know why. apparently if it's a stupid question, and you fail to even remotely answer it, then it must make you beyond stupid?

thanks lozina, all i needed to hear. just wanted to know if it's normal to get that. i haven't gotten it ever since though.
