Battlefield 2 Servers

My friend moved on to bf2142 and left me his bf2 key/account in the wake so I'm trying to get into it.

Let me start with what I like/disklike.
I don't really like aircraft, but at the same time infantry only gets a bit slow.

I am looking for some good bf2 servers with people who regularly use voip in squads or whatever.

Suggestions for servers or specific maps to play would be great, as I haven't play since its public beta.

I like Robert Reeds House of AIDS. lol

Its to hard to find servers that are not stupid infantry only.

I quit the game because of that

I understand why people do it though, with how broken aircraft are.

I suggest you check out Q-tracker. Just click a box and see only servers with vehicles enabled.

Try 'Hot Chicks in Planes and Helos' (it might have been changed to 'Hot Chicks Air Maps).

VOIP is enabled, but we use our TeamSpeak server. If you really want to start playing BF2 on public servers, you should get TeamSpeak. It works much better then the in game VOIP and you will see most servers give their TS IP while loading the map or inside the game.

Consider joining a Clan. The game is MUCH more enjoyable when played with a group of 'friends' and when you play together regulary, you will see how much better the 'teamplay' is. Stop by and say hello at: www.BannedBrothers.com. Be sure to post your in-game name (either here or at BB.com) so we can keep our eyes open for you.

BTW: The 'Hot Chicks' server is run by the Clan I am in =BB= (Banned Brothers). Only a sense of humor is required to join. Although donations are always appreciated (Ranked game servers aren't cheap). There is an in-game message that scrolls our policy of free membership to anyone who posts 'nude pictures of their actractive sister at our website', but again, that is voluntary, it's the sense of humor that is mandatory.

I was trying moongamers today, and I think I encountered my first hacker - some guy in the .50 cal of an M1 just kept mowing everyone down when we couldn't even see him through the haze.

You'd just go sprinting across the street then outa nowhere you'd be killed by .50 without even seeing anything.

I'll check out the site/server deadken my game name is Meroxusux (well technically its my friends but, yeah...)

hmm I was trying out qtracker but I don't see the IO on/off filters by default, how do I add/get them?

Yeah I didn't realize ArmA, so I don't have it yet (because of the name, I wasn't expecting it).
Luckily since it was published by Atari I now have 2 copies on the way, free of charge.

I can't wait to try it out.

The Insomnia Servers = pwnage. They have a ton of servers dedicated to individual maps.
They pwn.

I play all types, and I find it really depends on the map. I like Jalalabad a LOT better without vehicles, but I absolutely hate Wake or Operation whatever it is w/o vehicles.
