Battlefield 2 just goes dead

On my other computer I put a 9550 in it, booted it up fine, then when I play bf2 on it, the screen goes blank and the computer restarts. Any ideas what this might be, or how to fix it. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it runs fine.
 
I haven't tried using it with any other games, it doesn't do it at all on the desktop, it's the stock power supply ona compaq, I don't have the computer near me right now, I got fed up with it.
