Battlefield 2 Demo only goes to 1280x960?

What's the deal here?

I hope the full version goes to higher resolutions than 1280x960...that is lame...

Come on EA.....

Anyone else seeing this issue?

i'm not sure, but i think you can do custom resolutions with command line switches...

Movie file locations, move or delete them. (So you don't have to look at all of the start sceens)

Right click on the BF2 icon and go into proporties and have it look similar to this
"D:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 Demo\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1200
Just put in the resolution you want to run.
+fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050 for WSXGA+
or
+fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 800 for WXGA

Here is how to fix the FOV for widescreen aspect ratio. In the menu's its a little stretched but in game it?s fixed.
So go into your Battlefield 2 Demo\mods\bf2\Settings\' directory and edit the 'VideoDefault.con'. Look for the line that reads 'renderer.fieldOfView 1' and change it to 'renderer.fieldOfView 1.1'
