Battlefield 2 conflict

I just started playing bf2 again when it didn't work, it's been months since I played it and I upgraded the video card drivers since then, it doesn't initialize the main program and I reinstalled it, still doesn't work, any suggestions?

no, I've played bf2 on this computer before but not since I got the new forceware drivers.

i would switch back to the older drivers...
