I have seen some ATI/BF2 posts in the past but am having a hard time finding them again. Links would be great but if not the issue I am having is mainly my AA and AF does not work. If I turn it on in the BF2 menu or in the ATI control center it still is jaggy as hell as if it were off which I believe it is off even with the settings on full. I also get some minor skips from time to time and wondering if its just FPS or ATI issue.

AA/AF must be set to Application Preference in the drivers (CP/CCC) and apparently Catalyst A.I. must be disabled as well. AF may be limited to 4x by the texture menu option but it and most other video options can be set higher (ultra high) by manually editing the video.con

As for skips, try to eliminate the network from the equation by starting a local multiplayer game for testing. If it remains, you may want to experiment with vsync on/off and triple buffers (ATI Tray Tools).

Thanks for the no nonsense tips. I will give them a try. If you have time, could you link me or give some more tips on reaching higher then 4x AF? Thanks again.

Auric, you really know what you're talking about so I'll ask you: I've turned up blanks w/ google, and I want to know more info on the Advanced 3D options. Things like: triple buffering, Z buffer depth, alpha dither method, etc. Can you point me to a place that describes what these do and possibly what would be better settings for games and whatnot. Thanks in advance.
