Battlefield 2 and latest video driver issues

if i have the latest drivers installed for my 6800gt the game will "stutter" after so many minutes of gameplay. it will only stutter for just a few seconds, but when someone is shooting at you that is all it takes to kiss ur butt good bye. i had to go back to the 6xxx series of the nvidia drivers....

has anyone else had the same problem?
or is there a setting while using the latest drivers that will get rid off the problem?

You should find the best drivers the game recommends, not use the newest ones until they get tested and working right in the game.
