Battlefield 1942: Won't forget the filter...

Using the in-game gamespy browser, I have to clear the filter every time and then update. I put on a map filter and now the game seems to think that I want that filter every single time. How do I get it back to the normal default?

the in-game browser SUCKS ARSE. i hate it. http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html is a MUCH better alternative. much faster and much better in so many ways. there is the 21day trial, but i dont know what happens when you get to 21 days because i havent had it for that long =) but its great!
