Battlefield 1942 + 1280x1024 + dual display?

Hey folks,

A few questions:

1. How do I set a custom resolution of 1280x1024 in Battlefield 1942. It's not on the normal menu. Can I just type it in a file somewhere? I need this because my LCD is native to this resolution.

2. Also, is it possible to run Battlefield or any other game, for that matter, on multiple monitors? Are there any websites dedicated to such information?

not sure how well it would work with two... three is ideal (center screen w/crosshairs or whatever is in the middle on that game, one on each side)

not sure about bf1942 either =/

i think u can on some, u just gotta change the viewing arc.

You definitely can do multimon with quake3 engined games, but I seriously doubt that you can with battlefield.

As for the resolution thing, I have no idea, but I suggest searching battlefield forums or actually e-mailing Dice (the developers)
