Just downloaded the open beta and noticed DX12 is a toggleable option. You do get a warning that it's still under development but it's nice that it's there. Looking forward to doing some DX11 vs DX12 tests over the next few days.

With DX12 enabled, I'm getting rock solid 60 fps on ultra settings @ 1080p, vsync enabled running on a Fury X with an i7-5820k

I just got the invite too. Should be interesting to see if there is a difference on my aging machine for dx 12

Yea, I bet the DX12 implementation is not quite ready for primetime. Good for first looks but not really ready to run if you want to just play the game. The Frostbite DX11 code is quite mature and will take time for the DX12 code to match it.

My 980Ti is only managing a solid 30 fps running Ultra @ 1440p... DX12 locked up my PC on my first attempt to run the game in DX12. Now the question, which settings will increase performance while having a minimal impact on IQ?

btw, check your resolution scale. It's not set to 100% by default. At least mine wasn't.

42% scale is normal. In this game, Scale 42% is like 100% compare to other DICE games.

Really? How does that math work out? I'm not saying you're wrong, i'm just wondering how they came up with that setup.
