Battle Star Galactica

The original was fantastic. This new one has great special effects, but the whole thing about the Cylons not being giant clunky overgrown toasters completely ruins it for me. Screw the new one. That was half the awesomeness of the original.

It's pretty damn good. But, there's so many plot holes though. The main plot is getting a bit convoluted. I hope they actually explain some story lines soon, if they can....

BSG fvcking rules.

Very few shows can make me sit in front of my TV at the same time every week like it can.

The cliffhangers have also been most excellent.

I really like the new one, surprisingly. I thought it would be kinda lame in the beginning, but it turned out great.

I don't know how many eps you've seen, but the Toasters have made quite a few appearances on the new show.

Summary: entertaining as hell.

In the end that is all that matters😎

True, still pissed there are no new episodes until next year 🙁

 REALLY?!

Yup, Jan 6 is when the new episodes are going air.

SciFi hasn't been showing anything new actually, they have been re-running old season 1-5 and 9 episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.

Here is the schedule.

Only finished the first season but it is amazing. The whole concept of the cylons and religious tones is really unique.

what happened in the last episode? Didn't a new Battlestar appear out of nowhere?

Pretty much, Pegasus is the name of the battlestar that Galactica found has been jumping around just like Galactica. The person in command of Pegasus out-ranks Adama and pretty much takes over the whole fleet. Its not much of a spolier, just an over view.

This is the best show on TV period

and we are still waiting for the 2nd part of the Pegasus storyline right? I would shudder to think I have fallen behind on this series.

They borrowed that story idea from an episode of the original BSG (yes, the BS was named Pegasus, and the crew/commander were a bunch of psychos).

good show, good show.

can anyone enlighten me on the plot holes that someone mentioned above. I would really like to know what they are....and whomever posted the pegasus tidbit....spoiler warnings are needed...some people might not have gotten that far.

Next, on Battlestar Galactica:

Lloyd Bridges commanded the Pegasus in the original series and was also named Cain. I recall him being much more reckless than Adama, but not quite "psycho" as the current Cain seems to be.
