3. anti-virus, volume control, and outlook 2002. and i hide inactive icons, so technically only 1 right now (just got a new email not too long ago, outlook 2002 is peeking out).

edit: i think at home, i only have 2 (volume and avg). i like to keep it simple. just like my desktop at home and work only has 3 icons on it. my quick launch has 5 icons (desktop, browser, email, winamp, windows explorer)

Not really. I talk to my wife on AIM occasionally, but that's about it. This is my work computer, but I usually don't have anything running in the system tray at home either besides those two apps.
