Battle of the Heavy Metal Bands: Quiet Riot vs Twisted Sister

Both bands are early 80's metal bands and are a tad unpolished, but still very good.

Which band is the best?

Quiet Riot had Randy Rhoads before he died and has been around a long time.

Twiste Sister has Dee Schnider and horrendous make up, but takes comedy video to new highs.

I do say that Randy Rhoads is the better guitarist

Quiet Riot is WAY better than Twisted Sister. And Quiet Riot isnt early 80's, Quiet Riot is late 70's, as they released their first album 1977.

It's "Cum on Feel the Noize" and it's a lame-ass cover of the far-superior Slade version. Quiet Riots only other decent song was also an inferior cover of Slade's "Mama Weer All Crazee Now".

Twisted Sister was lightyears ahead of Slade. They did original material and actually made a couple of decent albums. Quiet Riot was nothing but a bad hair band.

I saw twisted Sister for THE FIRST TIME , last year in Sweden. THEY FVCKEN RAWK.
They played with us (Y&T) in Germany at the Bang Your Head Metal Fest, a few weeks later.
The story here is they were stopped by German customs coming in to Germany. When the guy asked Dee to open his wardrobe makeup case, he found, garters, Fishnets, wig, makeup and gave DEE such a look. It took a few minutes of 'splaining before they realized they had a ROCK STAR and not some pervert, who they weren't obliged to let in.
We enjoyed that story later the next day.....
Y&T being such a "blue collar" type, never has that problem these days. Now the problem for them is NO SMOKING and Phil's need to smoke constantly.

mmm Quiet Riot..... it brings back such memories from HS. Their song "stay with me tonight" was the song that kept me going thru most of 11th and 12th grade. Mmmm... so sultry.. mmmm
