http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/18/joe-lieberman-committee-benghazi_n_2154728.html

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) split with his Senate allies John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday, telling "Fox News Sunday" that he doesn't think a special committee is needed to investigate the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi.

Lieberman's comments come after McCain and Graham, two of the top leaders on foreign policy for the Republican party in the Senate, expressed interest in launching a select panel to investigate the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed four Americans in September. McCain and Graham -- as well as Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) -- have argued that such a committee would help streamline the investigations that are already underway. But on the news show on Sunday, Lieberman and Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) said an umbrella committee for the investigations is not necessary. Chambliss and Lieberman are involved in separate congressional investigations into the Benghazi attack.

There is definately and episode of the Simpsons or South Park waiting to be made...

Lieberman finally does something good. I was pissed at him for backstabbing Kerry. McCain is a total hypocrite. Thank god he lost the election

It's not the only time Lieberman's done good in the last two decades, but they are becoming increasingly rarer. Lieberman acted against his BFF and was one of the primary driving forces in getting don't ask, don't tell finally repealed.

But as a CT voter I'm still counting down the days until he's finally out of office.

Bah and Naw I say, its just the same ole same ole Partisan politics riding again. Incidents come and go, partisan politics never dies. Joe Lieberman man the democrat says there is little to be learned in the attack on the US embassy in Bengazi, and GOP politicians McCain and Graham want to rub the democratic noses on their failures.

But when those same politicians in other similar incidents when the Prez was of the opposite party, took 100% different positions.

Which is part of the reason I am disgusted with the press. (1) Why does the press drag back basically washed up politicians like McCain and Lieberman. (2) And then why does the press abrogate their responsibility to question their stinking thinking?

Its part of the entire reason this whole Bengazi thing has turned into nothing but but a three ring circus. In one ring we have clownish politicians seeking answers where there are none. In another ring we caught Gen Petraeus in a sex scandal on the absurd notion that he was too busy banging some bimbo to pay attention to his job. And in the third ring, other relatives of Petraues and the bimbo biographer, has maybe informed Obama and worse yet every hacker able to hack into low security common email accounts, that some possible extra marital hanky panky was going on which explains everything and nothing.

Silly GWB and Obama, why did they elevate Petraeus to be in charge of anything, when any fool could tell, when Petraeus was a little bitty baby he was running around shitting his own diaper-----and hence far short of perfect.

What we need is superman or a 100% reliable Psychic when real psychics are in short supply. Its why we really need superman, who can fly backwards at the speed of light to a time before the incident happened and change the bad outcome. But failing to find either superman or a true Psychic, we find comic book characters that call themselves partisan politicians to provide all possible reasons for any bad outcome.

It was so much simpler in the old days, have a flood, fire plague, or earth quake, and you could sacrifice a chicken, a sheep, a cow, or a virgin, to placate an angry God.

No need to have these hearings of clueless politicians. And for more minor stuff, a few hail Mary's and a rosary and we were good to go.

Watched ABC's This Week.

Marth Radditz did something really funny...

While discussing the Gen. Patraeus dust up...

Q: Can you do your job while having an extra-marital affair? Speaker Gingrich your thoughts!

That was kind of a backhanded slap at the Royal Newt!

LOL one step away from , "Hey Newt, how'd you do it?"
The funny thing is Newt said the affairs made him more normal than Mitt, the sad thing is he's probably right.

Well maybe that is the current problem, we just can't catch Obama or Mitt in a sex scandal. Something Mr. and Mrs America can actually understand.

Failing that the only remaining solution is to redouble out efforts in engaging in partisan politics.

Maybe the only solution is to hire a cadre of of bi-partisan Monica Lewinskies who might be able to suck some common sense out of our politicans. Or at least keep them otherwise distracted from partisan stupidly.
