battle of the cooler masters

i think they are both great cases. personally, the wavemaster wins against the centurion in my list of favs. my list goes as:

1) Lian-Li PC-V1000
2) Cooler Master Wave Master
3) Antec Sonata
4) Cooler Master Centurion 5

I have both....the wave master has the aluminum going for it, while the Centurion has totally tooless going for it. I like the convenience of the centurion with front usb and firewire ports.
 
Wavemaster is definitely a "better" case between the 2... if you put them side by side you would agree for sure.

WM is all aluminum, the C5 is just a nice skin on a basic case design. I prefer the Wavemaster in almost every way, but the C5 is a very clean looking case, just not as nice as the WM overall. IMO.
 
depends what is important to you. WM looks awesome. However, I have to say that I have been disappointed in it's cooling and noise management. However, since you're only comparing it to the Centurion....WM wins.
 
well i have the praetorian, which i love, but my only complaint would be inherent in the WM as well- 80mm fans.

i'm not much for the look of the centurian but i like the 120 fans.

 
i would go for the WM i really like the centurion.
if i had a choice and money wasnt a prob i would get teh WM
if money is the prob i would get the centurion
 
I echo the cooling concerns and noise, the wave master does not cool as well as the centurion. Still so nice to have both.

I have the same problem with the Coolermaster cases. I'm looking for a PSUless Windowless Cavalier for myself, but I can only seem to get a PSUless case with a window or a windowless case with a PSU. :disgust:

There is a model of the cavalier with no window and no psu, but i can only find it on uk or german websites, no usa etailers. Either sell the PSU on Ebay or keep it for emergency usage only. Good luck.
