Anyone know a simple solution? When me and my roommate try to play people on bnet, it lags like crazy and we eventually get dropped...:[

you were actually able to get on? me and my friend couldn't both connect at the same time. i think its something blizzard did to battle.net because of all the people with multiple copies of d2 using them to mule items. i think it it looks for multiple connections from the same ip. but i could be wrong. if you figure something out, please let me know 🙂

Man, I could've sworned I answered a post like this yesterday. I believe you have to set up one of the computers as a DMZ host if you're planning to host the game. You can also try forwarding port 6112 (I'm not sure how much help that would be, but just give it a shot). I hope you have separate CD-Keys, because having the same one can also be a problem. Hope this helps. 🙂
