My roommate and I are trying to play warcraft 3 over battle.net... we have different keys and can login to battle.net seperately... so that's not a problem. the problem is that we're behind a router with only 1 IP... is there a way so that we can both login to battle.net? When we both try to do battle.net at the same time, one of us can't connect

its a dlink router if that helps

thanks all!!!

Unless battle.net allows the same external IP connect more than once at the same time, no. When you use a router, it creates a subnet so that x amount of computers can use the same external IP at once. The only problem is that the port that you are using can only be forwarded to one computer at a time. I would say no because of the port issue, and the single external IP shared between two computers.

I have a Linksys router and my son and I can play on B.Net simultanously, but we can't play in the the same game. However, that was in StarCraft/BroodWar. I have WC III but my graphic card is to old to support the game, but try this; you setup a game profile in the west server and you roomate setup a profile in the east server.

You could also try changing the port forwarding for one of your PC's.
Also, I heard that the Linksys router works best for this type of need.

Can you guys join games that were created by your other client PC's behind the router? I'm trying to get this to work but port forwarding doesn't help this.
