Battery problem on laptop. Can someone help?

The battery on my laptop, starting last night, refused to charge above 23%, even after charging it for the night.

I have tried to cycle the battery by completely depleting it, but now, while I'm recharging, the "Power Meter" is staying at 1% even after an hour... This is a brand new battery! Should I return it for warranty service?

Yes...you shuld return it while you still have the warranty...
Also, call the tech support... and see if it could be something else.. you never know... once i sent a laptop in for a screen replacement and they went ahead and replaced the system board as well... so who knows... good luck

just called RMA... they're shipping the replacement 2nd day air... not bad
