Just got a 40V battery lawn mower. Self propelled, but didn't really need that. Holds two batteries, but only uses one at a time. When depleted, you remove, rotate and reinsert a plug to use the other.
Holding a lever, pushing a button and listening to the blades wind up and sound like a fan will take some getting used to, but sure beats adding gas, oil and yanking a on a rope.
Batteries seem to take quite a while to charge even with a 'rapid charger', so that'll take some planning. Not sure how much run time I'll get in real use. Manufacturer estimates say 70 minutes.
No grass to mow just quite yet, but did a quick test area yesterday and it seemed to do fine.
