Battery/plug icon on laptop

Hello.

I just got a Sony Vaio laptop with XP Pro and SP2. I plugged the laptop in for a while and then turned it on. The icon on the right side of teh taskbar has the picture of the plug and the "charging bolt" showing that it is charging. I left the laptop plugged in overnight, but when I turned it on this AM, it shows 100%, but it still says it is "charging".

On all my other laptops, when it is charged, the "charging bolt" goes away when the battery reaches 100% and the icon looks like a plug. I'm just concerned, as I am trying to properly condition my battery. Is this something I should be worried about?

Best bet would be to check Sony's manual and/or tech pages...
But I'd hazard a guess that it's nothing to be worried about...
