battery maximiser for T40

I re-downloaded the Battery Maximiser (the IT guy at school helped me remove viruses by cleaning everything out and didn't reload stuff he thought made my computer slow) but now I notice that not all the Power Schemes setting are listed there.

When I go to the Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Power Options, they are all still listed there (11 setting options) compared to the only 5 setting listed under Battery Maximizer. I know I still have the option to use the other settings through the Pawer Option, but I rather stick to one program by just using the Battery Maximizer. I tried to add more schemes to the Maximizer, using the same names (i.e. Portable/Laptop, etc) that are found in the Power Option, but the computer won't let me because there already is a same name existing. Can I somehow "transfer" this information from the Power Option to the Battery Maximiser so that I can see all 11 settings there?

To my knowledge, there is no way to do that. What settings are you trying to "transfer?" The "Portable/Laptop" setting in Power Options only tells the computer to underclock itself if possible & sets the HDD/LCD timeout options as you specify. Just create a new profile in Battery Maximizer with the settings you want, no reason to try to replace the default Windows ones.
