WTF! I bought new batteries for my C-4000 camera yesterday morning, shot about 40 pictures. This morning I went to use it, shot about 10 more and the batteries died.

Grrrr..... Thats horrible. And I know it was not left on, I made sure it was off sitting at my desk. Time to find some rechargeables...
 
use rechargeables, thats what everyone else does. And minimize use of the small lcd screen. That sucks the energy right out of the batteries.

I should have tracked down some of the canon battery packs...the originals lasted quite a while.
 
Yeah, definately get some high capacity NiMH batteries 🙂

I have a set of 2300mAh NiMH batteries for my A70, and have taken about 150 pictures so far, majority with flash, and all of them using the LCD display, and many with multiple levels of zoom, and the batteries are still going strong 🙂 This is all since Christmas, 4 weeks 🙂
