battery life on latest verizon gs3 update.

I just got a replacement gs3 and its running the latest official jellybean rom and everything bone stock and im about to break 5 hours of on screen time.

This is a lot better than I was getting with custom roms and kernals on my old phone abd want to share my results.

I wont be flashing any roms on this phone as the gps is working perfwct and dobt want to chance messing that up.

that sounds about right for me. I generally get about 6-7 hours of screen time on my aokp rom if I'm not playing games.

My battery life went to crap with the JB update. Not to mention there was incessant lag and stuttering.

After a few weeks of it, I got fed up today and put CM10 on my phone.

It hasn't been long enough to report any difference sin battery usage, but the UI is smoother. Project butter is actually meaningful now.
