Battery indicator flashing regularly.

My Skoda Octavia battery light flashing... After body wash, the battery light flashing frequently even in idle start. I just wanted to know is it a minor issue, or needs replacement or what would be the problem. Whether I can take the car out or not. Suggestions please.
 
Check the battery terminals and see if there's corrosion. It wouldn't hurt to take the terminals off and clean it up a little while you're in there. Does it have any problems starting?

What's the age of battery?
