Battery Banks for Laptops?

I have one of those battery banks (13000mah) that charges up cell phones. I was wondering if I could also use it to charge the laptop so I don't need a power cord to continue usage. My Anker power bank has the usb slot for charging. I bought a usb type A male to usb type A male hoping it would auto charge the laptop but it doesn't appear to work that way.

Yes. USB ports need additional electronics to charge in either direction, only a few devices can do that. Usually it's "send power" or "receive power" only.

Back to the original topic, there are power banks that have a AC output with which you could charge your laptop. There may even be power banks that have 12V/19V universal outputs which you could use to charge it directly (with a socket adapter) but there are no kits that turn a regular USB power bank into a notebook charger as far as I know.
