Two entirely different characters. Superman was originally based on the concept of altruistic benevolance while The Batman was based on misanthropic vengence. Superman, with his super powers would presumably have the edge.
Except... The Batman is by far the smarter of the two. Given his intellect and physical prowess he could definitely give the Kryptonian a run for his money.
in "the dark night returns" batman's plan was to bitch slap superman around and then fake his own death. so he really didn't kick his butt so to speak, just bruised it.
Let me see, batman prances around in a cape and a nice car but other than that he is normal. Superman on the otherhand can burn thru 10 feet of solid steel with his eyes.
Instead of Batman vs. Superman, how about the Hulk vs. Superman.
Think about it... the Hulk, who's theoretical strength is only limited by how angry he can get. Hmmmm... that might be a bit more of a challenge for the Man o' Steel...
Superman, obviously. He is stronger, faster, and smarter than Batman. He also can fly, which is a nice plus.
Who said Batman was far smarter than Superman? No way...Superman knows everything man has ever known.
Batman. Superman may have super human strength, x-ray vision, and a whole mess of other tricks, but he's still a pansy. See, Batman would fight dirty if he had to, Superman is "too good" for that.
I liked Superman until they killed him off,and then brought him back!
Favourite Superman George Reeves
Favourite Batman Adam West
Favourite Villain in All Batman Media The Joker(of course)
Jokersmoker
Well if you think Hulk can beat Superman, then Son Goku from Dragon Ball GT can beat Hulk. Son Goky can reach the stage of SSJ4 when his powerlevel is un-comparable to that of anyone! Mwahah! Go Son-kun!
Goku would whip everyone's ass. I think Batman vs. Superman would definately be Batman. Come on, all he needs is a little bit of Kryptonite and Superman is worthless.
