Is this the one directed by Wolfgang Peterson? I remember reading there were 2 coming out, one by him and the other by Daren Aronofsky sp? (of Requiem for a Dream fame).

Liam Neeson plays Henri Ducard, Bruce Wayne's mentor and the person who helped train him to become Batman.

I have high hopes for this movie. Hopefully it will capture the true spirit of Batman instead of becoming a cinematic abortion like the last two movies.

OTOH, it gets you excited for the movie without spoiling any major plot points. Like, you know, almost every other trailer does. (No, I'm not getting my hopes up, as this gets closer to release, I'm sure the "spoiling major plot points" trailers will become the norm).

Well, Wolfgang Peterson was attached to Batman vs. Superman, while Darren Aranofsky was going to be doing Batman Year One.

But this is neither of those (they never got off the ground). This is directed by Chris Nolan. Search for Batman Begins on imdb, and you will learn.
