Christian Bale .... Bruce Wayne/Batman
Michael Caine .... Alfred Pennyworth
Liam Neeson .... Ducard
Morgan Freeman .... Lucius Fox
Gary Oldman .... Lt. James Gordon
Ken Watanabe .... Ra's Al Ghul
Katie Holmes .... Rachel Dawes
Cillian Murphy .... Dr. Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow
Tom Wilkinson .... Carmine Falcone
Rutger Hauer .... Richard Earle

That's a lot of reputations at stake if this thing bombs like 'Batman and Robin'!! Of course, Clooney and Thurman's careers are still doing well after that crapfest.

directory is a noboby, but he did memento...

i loved the first one - if this one can draw off of the original's atmosphere, this could be decent.

or it could suck, like 97% of the movies released nowadays do...i just realized i sound like my parents.

/sigh

Over all the comic book movies have been good the past few years:
Blade 1/2
League of Extaordinary Gentlement (although the addition of tom sawyer was kinda silly)
Xmen 1/2
Daredevil
Spiderman 1/2

Now we get to see the greatest comic book hero, ever, on the big screen again. It can't suck.

So why does the car look like a 7 year old with ADD made it? The car's design alone tells me that this will be just as smelly as the sh*t that is the last couple of films.

Daredevil
Damn, everybody hated LOEG. There were maybe 3 people on the planet who liked it. Daredevil was rated pretty poorly too ;) Spider and Xmen were great though!

LOEG rocked. The comic book guys I talked to thought it rocked. I wish they had stuck to the comic book a bit better, but introducing the invisible man in a girl's school probably isn't something parents would like.

The friend I have that is a daredevil collector thought the movie was great, and didn't veer too far off course from the comics. Can't get better reviews than that.

They get better and better until something like the hulk or the punisher comes out. Then they get better and better again?

His suit also looks much better in this one, unlike the past couple where he was wearing like 400k lb's of plastic on his crotch.

With custom molded nipples too :Q :frown:

This honestly looks like it has promise. I hoping for another dark, asskicking mofo of a Batman movie, not this neoGotham crap that the last few were.

little late on this thread...
but im a huge batman/comic book fan.

LOEG was a great comic by moore that was (like from hell) reduced to dumbness by a movie.
if im understanding the new batman right, this is supposed to take from frank millers batman year one and the dark knight returns. year one is sort of a stupid title and "returns" is already taken...and its probably too much plot for a 2 hour movie. but the tank-like car used by batman in returns seems very much like the vehicle in this film.

He's hardly a nobody; Insomnia and Memento were both well received.. He may not be Michael Bay, but thank god for that. :p
