Batman : Arkham asylum 2

Arkham is $35 shipped at Amazon today, just picked it up. Considering the huge amount of hype surrounding the game I'm expecting it to be great. Then I'll start looking at #2.
 
Sweet. Other than the fricking save game system which randomly corrupted my save file and made me start over again 3/4 of the way through the first one, it was an outstanding game. Figured they'd be gearing up a sequel ASAP
 
While I've not yet played the game I understand it takes place at Arkham Asylum (duh). Instead of making a sequel by the same name I'd almost like them to pick another locale from the Batman universe and set the game there.

If you look at the video for Batman 2, I think they have changed locations. It looks like it takes place in Gotham. At least in one of the seedier parts of Gotham.

There's also supposed to be clues about 4 villains that will appear in the sequel. I haven't had a chance to go back and look to find the clues.
 
If it's not taking place at Arkham Asylum then don't call it Arkham Asylum (although now the name carries so much clout I'm sure that's why they did it).

I don't think they've officially named it yet. It's just the media calling it Arkham Asylum 2.

The official website, arkhamhasmoved.com, makes no mention of a name in fact.

Just watched the trailer again and think I saw one clue...a club/bar called Iceberg. Don't know if that is a clue for Mr. Freeze though or Penguin because I think Penguin owned a club called Iceberg.

Ahh, that makes more sense. They're just putting it out that it's a sequel to Arkham Asylum, I thought it was officially "Arkham Asylum 2" but not taking place at said asylum.
 
The first was great, I enjoyed it a lot. It did get kind of the same ole same ole after a while, but had a nice finish to it. You could really tell by the ending that it wasn't over yet, there were to many unanswered questions. Also at the new lower price, this is worth picking up.

My thoughts exaclty on the title.. it should not mention Arkham Asylum since its not being played there. I agree that its probably just how they are saying it now, so you know its along the same vein. Great game, can't wait for the sequel.
 
There's the Iceberg which is Penguin's hideout, a poster for Harvey Dent, and then a giant "Sionis" which is Black Mask. Not sure on the fourth.
 
That link took me to the new MoH game -- which looks decent BTW.

I saw the game awards last night anyhow, I just wanted another look at "AA2"

Clues about 4 NEW villains? Or 4 villains period... there's obvious stuff about Penguin and Two-Face in there, and obviously Harley and Joker. Beev mentioned Black Mask who I don't know. The end of AA mentioned two-face was currently robbing a bank, so we kind of knew he was coming.

I think 4 villains other than Joker and Harley.
