Damn I was just Googling for this yesterday and most results said 2011 :(

Well I can't wait! Just watched The Dark Knight yesterday in glorious 1080p. Great movie.

So am I seriously the only person in the world who though Dark Knight was meh?

probably.

it was pretty good. better than batman begins, which was certainly not fucking 'meh' at all. christopher nolan + christian bale + batman = awesome.

hopefully nolan is still writing on this one.

Dark Night was good, but not as amazing as people make it out to be.

Ledger's performance and death is really what made the movie what it was, just an amazing amount of hype and a pretty amazing performance.

I can't say that I am 'excited' about Batman 3. But I am sure it will be a good movie and one I might even go see in the theater.

Hopefully it will be in 3D. :awe: Robin and Batgirl would be nice a bonus.

Regardless of his death, and I don't put much of value on anyone's death, particularly hollywood peeps, he was awesome in Dark Knight.

Gonna be super hard to follow up Batman Begins and Dark Knight. Please no Robin/Batgirl. Or Arnold as Mr Freeze.

I'm with you on that. I saw the Dark Knight in Hollywood at the ArcLight theater on vacation and was pretty excited because of the good reviews.

The movie was disjointed and insulting, I left the theater that night eager to get to bed and start the next day trying to forget the 2 plus hours i suffered through.

I like Dark Knight but i got really irritated last time with Bale and his Batman voice. It sounds like Batman is a 3 pack a day smoker, I just wanted him to go find a cough drop.

Although the two recent Batman movies are awesome, it sure as hell isn't because of Christian Bale. He's the worst part of both movies. He's fine as Bruce but makes a terrible Batman.

They should just use Kevin Conroy as the voice for Batman... he was perfect in B:TAS, and JL:U

I thought he was much better as Batman in Batman Begins. I really don't know why they decided to have him talk in that ridiculous voice throughout the entirety of The Dark Knight when he was in costume.

Should have been two movies. I think every problem with the movie was because they tried to cram it all together. I mean, it went on forever. It was like Bad Boys 2 in that respect. Also two face became two face because the joker told him to? Come on. YOU KILLED PADME WITH YOUR ANGER!

ETA! I really liked the movie a lot though, considering what you're asking for. You're giving up $8 to be entertained for a couple hours and hear a good story. It did that! What percent of big movies actually do? 2%? Worth the $8 for sure, but like in the top 10 best movies of all time? FUCK NO!

His death combined with an awesome performance created a TON of hype for the movie.

Without his death there is no way the movie makes a half a billion domestic box office.

No you're not. It was ok. I don't understand how people could think it's so godly but I guess they just need to actually watch a good movie to understand.
