They look like nice fixtures. However, it also looks like they might only be available from plumbing supply-type places. This could mean that you would spend close to MSRP for the items.

Finally, when I look at fixtures, I tend to look at parts - and if parts will be available in the future. Moen and Kohler, while being about the most popular fixtures, also have plenty of parts out there - should you need to install a new insert or valve for a faucet down the road. When it comes to the brand you are considering, if parts are not available, you might have to have the old shower faucet and assembly removed, a new one installed and part of your shower tiled over. This could easily be a job that costs $800 if you are paying to have it done. $800 is a lot when you consider that replacement "innerds" for a Moen faucet run only about $17.00.

However, if you want a different look, style, or whatever, you tend to have to pay a bit more for that feature. :)

i do see what you mean... hopefully with this i can convince the other half of the buying process about this $ issue down the road...

it would also help if there were such nice looking things from moean or kohler, or delta.. couldnt see anything as streamlined and non bulky... any suggestions...
