Batch image converter

hey, i need a program that will convert a bunch of my digital pics to a small size (from 1600x1200 to 400x300) without a loss of pic quality. anyone have suggestions on their favorites?

ImageMagick for sure... it's command line but don't let that scare you... it's free and very functional.

use irfanview...it's pretty simple to batch convert. If your converting from .jpg to .jpg there will be a slight quality loss.
