Basturds changed the meter time from 6pm to 8pm

Argh I go to this same restaurant every other week and I'm so used to meter expiring at 6pm that I go after work and don't put coins in...came out and got a ticket. Bastards extended the meter time to 8pm!!!!!!!!! Argh $50 lesson learned, check the sign EVERY time.

Portland jacked up the rates, expanded the hours, and even added Sunday. I can't believe anyone still goes downtown.

Gotta pay for all those organic biofuel buses I guess.

I don't know why people recommend this unless they are trying to screw OP. Every ticket I went against the cop was always there. They get paid OT for it.

Here in WA the police officer doesn't have to be there. In fact, the person that gave him the ticket probably wasn't a cop, it was a meter maid.

Holy crap that's a huge fine for an expired meter. I parked at a 2 hour meter once by accident and it cost me 7 bucks as I parked for 4 hours. Funny thing is there was actually an option on the ticket to fight in court LOL. yeah, I'm going to pay a couple grand for a lawyer to fight a 7 dollar ticket. Some people probably do it too.
