Bastion is good

It was on sale this weekend (not sure it's still on sale though). I tried the game on PC a few years ago but didn't got into and didn't have a controller (I was in the Pure Elite PC Race at that time).

Bought the game a couple days ago and can't stop playing. Game is fun, the narrative very well done and it's uniqueness is refreshing. It is a cool mix of a light puzzle and action game with character customization (although minimal but still have some) and great game play.

Got get it, it's a nice change of pace from other more serious games, and it's pretty cheap.

Yeah I bought it on PC then didn't play it for a year... tried it out again and couldn't put it down. Unfortunately it's pretty short, but it's not very expensive so fine by me!

Yeah I liked it a lot. One of my favorite game soundtracks too.

I couldn't get into Transistor though, which is strange because it was made by the same people and seemed very similar on the surface.

I loved Transistor. Especially the ending 🙂 Bastion was also really cool!

Gameplay was different enough to turn me off. I'm not a fan of turn based games which is what transistor falls into. I didn't really give it a fair shake though (only an hour or so) so I might have liked it given more time.

Same on all counts. Loved Bastion and everything about it. Could not get into Transistor at all.

I thought the turn-based aspect was actually optional? Although, from the videos that I've seen, the game looks far easier if you use the turn-based portion as it stops time for a limited period.
