Bastards broke into my car (with pics)

I'm lucky to have a WAY over-funded police department in my town. They don't seem to have anything better to do, so they spend most of their time patroling around my neighborhood every 15 minutes.

It is pretty easy to get a permit for it here, too. The problem is I don't know about the legality of shooting someone in the lot at my apartment. Also, shooting someone inside my apartment could cause harm to a neighbor.

I've heard stories of thieves that break in and make you drive them to an ATM to empty your account. Then they take you and kill you out in the middle of no where. Well, fvck that... If they are going to shoot me, they can do it in my home. I'll go out with a bat or a knife in my hand before I let someone murder me face down in a field of mud.

It's a 1988 model year. If I were to put an alarm in that it would make most thieves think I have something of value to hide. I don't plan on replacing it with an expensive model anyway - just a cheap bottom of the line Pioneer or something used off eBay. I have access to a 12 gauge and a Beretta so I'm not concerned with my safety - I just wish I had seen or heard something so I could have done something about it, like kick their @$$.

My 1st car was break into, driver windows smash and they grab my headunit faceplate only !!!!!! WTF !!!
I'm still paranoid until now.
So I try to practice taking off the faceplate everytime I park more than 10 minutes.

My car was broken into many years ago. I was pissed. Now, I just stick with factory stereos; IMO they sound fine.
