I use AIM, I'm proud to admit it too!

VIPER GTS hit the nail on the head! Besides, I see nothing wrong with AIM except for the fact that it is through AOL, a hated company.
Don't sit down too fast HappyPuppy, your rear end is bound to swell and sitting down hard could be extremely painful. I'm just hoping there is no bleeding. Perhaps you should invest in a hemmorroid doughnut cushion.

uh, first, it's not me, and I'm already pissed off enough from my own friends suggesting that it's me, I don't need to hear that crap from you too. Second, when you ask someone for someone's SN, say for homework, they usually give it to you since schoolmates usually do that for each other. Third, no one said he had my buddy list... maybe we share common friends and he's harassing them, if I knew how he got my buddy list I think i'd know who it was and wouldn't be posting here. And lastly, I could sign onto Trilian with one SN and AIM with another... I left my trillian nick on all the time in away mode while my numerous sisters would chat on AIM with their friends.

There's someone from school who is using a SN similar to mine and is harassing people... and since the name is similar to mine everyone thinks its me. Is there anyway to figure out who or what nick or what email he used to register his SN? I'm pretty pissed because a lot of people are mad at me for something I'm not even doing.

It could be one of your friends in your buddy list. You can figure out by using simple logic: isolation and elimination.
You need to know who on your buddy list that have been harassed. Then you try to check out their buddy lists (you should keep it secret or this person will be alerted) If all of them has another screen name, this is more likely the person you're looking for.
You should also ask them to set their prefences to not accept incoming message from anyone who is not on their buddy list.

By the way, I've been using AIM when ICQ and AIM were so popular (around 1998) although I've never used AOL as my ISP. I use AIM because most of my friends use it.
