Bass Guitar Amplifer/Cabinet Setup

I have come into the possession of a Hartke HA3500 amp and Hartke 410XL cabinet (4x10"). I have only used combo systems before, and I have no idea how to set this up. . .
The amp has two 1/4" unbalanced outputs marked 8ohms on the back in addition to the effects send/return jacks and direct out. If I want to connect it to my cabinet and no effects processor or PA system, I only need to use the 1/4" jacks, right? The cabinet has two 1/4" inputs. What do I want to connect here? I'm not really sure what impedance I want/need to use (or if it's relevent @ all for that matter). Can somebody help me out, or send me a site that can teach me?

Ignore the send/return and direct out junk. Do as you said, connect the 1/4" output to you cab's input.

Also, don't worry so much. If you try something and it doesn't work, it's not like it'll blow up or anything(unless it's really LOUD)
