Bass adjustment in the volume

My settings in windows don't allow me to adjust the bass in my volume, are there any programs that can kinda manipulate a super-bass effect? Or is there anything I can just do in general to be able to adjust the bass settings on the computer outside of having to buy a sound card? I just like the bass effect...it gives music a much richer feeling.

you can always just adjust the EQ in whatever programs you are using. but maybe someone has a better idea.

Add a subwoofer t the system. turn down your mains to match the "level" you want.
