1. How do you adjust your playing against a man to man defense? Do you just constantly move and try to confuse them?

2. Is it against the rules to run in between the person with the ball and his defender?

1. Depends on the man, and how tight the D, and if your role is as a scorer. If you're a jumpshooter, curl around a screen or 2.

2. No.

Man to man is best addressed by having lots of ball and player movement along with pick & rolls, cuts, etc.

Basketball is best played as a team, and you will get the best results with everyone involved. Even the NBA playoffs showed this year the teams that play the most involved basketball have progressed, while the ones that relied on a lot of isolation plays are done.

No, not as long as you do not foul your opponent.

1) Try to get other players to provide inadvertent picks.
1) Constant movement to get taller players further from the basket (so I can drive around them).
1) Constant movement to get shorter players closer to the basket (so I can post them up).
1) Try to create 2-1 so get one man open for a shot.

2) No as long as you don't interfere with either.

For 2, are you asking about a defender or an offensive player? If it's an offensive player it could be called as a "moving screen."

Agreed. A lot of picks/screens to create mismatches. A really good point guard also helps with good ball handling.
