Anything i could do to improve the traction of my basketball shoes?

I bought this pair of shoe a few months ago. I play in a wooden indoor court all the time but recently i feel less and less traction so it's harder for me to make sudden stop on the court. The shoes still in good condition just i don't get as much tractions as i used to. :(

Any tips that i can do to my shoes to regain the traction on wooden surfaces? besides buying a new pair.

I tried water but it only works for a few minutes.

p/s: My shoes is clean as i have different pairs of sneakers i wear off the court.

Depending on the soles, a bleach-water spray can work wonders, though it'll eat away at the bottom of the soles and make the shoes wear much faster.

wooden indoor courts are the BEST.... well, i have the same problem after the floor is worn down... i mean, right after it's waxed, it's friggin' awesome.... but otherwise, just use ur hands and wipe the dust off the bottom of ur shoes, rub ur hands together to get it off your hands and play... when i'm playing serious, i end up doing this every 2 or 3 times down the court... you should ask hans007.... he's super baller ;)

What slikmunks said. I usually end up just wiping the dust off the shoes with my hands.

I should add that if wiping off the dust doesn't help, the court probably needs cleaning. Bleach will work in a pinch, though.
