Basic win 2000 networking issues....

I've got two computers joined with a crossed cable. One is win 2k pro, the other win 98se.

Now when the win 98se tries to access my shared folders on the win 2k machine (by double clicking on the computers name in the network neighbourhood) it asks for a password. How can I set this password up on the win 2k box, since I have no idea what it is!

Do I have to set up a guest user account or something? If so could someone guide me.... cheers!

Try enabling guest access on the W2k machine, it's disabled by default.🙂
