Dear friends, I have to make an university work discussing the subject "how a videocard works" and explaining the basics of a videocard operation. Even though I read the Anandtech reviews describing the ultra-fast powerfull cards, pixel shadder, etc... I must confess that I don't know the basics. For example, I don't know how the pins of the cable connector are assigned to transport the signal to the monitor, the internal block diagram of a single old vga card, how the data is transformed from digital to analog, etc.... Does anybody have something like.... a work already done? ;-) ...or even a good source where I could base my research.
