I apologize for the nature of this post. I unfortunately don't have time to get up to speed on the latest laptop technology. Looking for a basic, no frills laptop that will handle HD video streaming and audio streaming.
Requirements:
1. Quiet - Used to stream audio/video in a lecture hall type of environment.
2. Reliable - Laptops are inherently less reliable, but non cheapie cheap is good.
3. Modern levels of minimum technology. This is where I fall short. What is the current considered "decent" levels of mobile processor, ram, gpu, etc.
4. Excellent WiFI - Since its main function is streaming a quality WiFi chipset/implementation would be fantastic.
5. Reasonably priced - This would rule out gaming notebooks, ultrabooks, etc.
You don't have to recommend a specific model, although that would be fantastic. The usual suspects are fine: Dell, Lenovo, HP, Asus, Toshiba
Thanks!
